Everyone is encouraged to bring along a selection of food /
drink to share with everyone.
Why do
this? Well why not.
We chat, discuss issues of the day or week, get things off
our chests and share in the troubles and anguishes we all carry around with us.
As the saying goes: 'a troubled shared is a trouble halved'.
This is the simplest way to show true love amongst our
friends, family or neighbours and is also a great way to meet new friends too.
Spiritual
At the Last Supper, Jesus shared a simple meal of bread and
wine and created a way to remember him.
On Sundays, we come together to remember Him in the sharing
of bread and wine and celebrate His life and death through the words given to
us. We also think about others in the community, around the world. It is
reflective, thought provoking, prayerful and guiding. This is then followed
with a drink and nibbles.
Everyone
is welcome!
We embrace all people, irrespective of who you are, or where you have come from.
In times of sadness, anxiety about what is to come, doubt,
hurt, loneliness, transitioning, out and proud, single, black, white,
indifferent... we are here to share, to relax, have a laugh, share a joke or
two, enjoy the company of a group of like-minded friends and remember those who are unable to be there.
