Celebrating over 40 years of marching for rights!
The first London Pride was in 1972 when the LGBT community still had very few rights.
Now we are stronger and as the London Gay Men's Chorus sang - One Voice it reminded me that we do still need to keep singing with One Voice to show to those in the World who still discriminate against those are LGBT or who are just different!
And it is not just outside the UK where people discriminate but a few organisations, some who call themselves Christians, within the UK still do. But as it was pointed out, they too have a right to voice their opinions, just as the LGBT community did en mass.
However we celebrate our differences, let's also celebrate those who have made a difference!
